1/2 Way Through 2009
A lot has happened this year!
I have a New Day Job at Mancini's Sleepworld in Tracy.
Not since Aug, 2008 has the store done 100k in business in one month's time.
In April, we didn't just hit our goal of 50k,
In May, we repeated our April success.
Doubling our goal but this month was a struggle.
Larry, (my manager) has had one goal and mission for our store.
"Build Long Term Business, Not Just Short Term Profit".
In other words... We are not robbing every customer that walks in the door.
We're giving great deals to the people who come in so that when they need more
for their families they'll not hesitate to come back to "US" and not even think about going
anywhere else for all their bedroom furnishings.
The upper management has offered me a position in a more profitable store but, at this
time, i am going to stay right where I am and do well there. Larry and I get along very well. He's an Excellent Manager.
I'm areal people person and goal driven. People buy from people they like!
Based on my successes with Mancini's customers, I think they like me.
